-Night time run-
She ran in the dark, her breaths forming white puffs as the escaped her mouth. Out in the middle of a forest that she never saw before, Running nightly was her habit another habit of hers was to explore. It wasn't an exceptionally cold night but the deeper she went into this forest not only the darker but the colder it got. Not letting it bother her she went on, passing eerier tree after another.
The full moon that was shinning bright just moments before she entered the forest was now hidden behind thick branches and clouds that formed in a way she had never seen before. She still ignored it not wanting to let it bother her run. It was nothing. The wind picked up which knocked branches into one and another, making them creak and moan out. They banged against the trunks.
There was no more moon light her eyes quickly took to the change and she could still see a partial path, she followed it and it came to a small house, something was pulling her to it, she went in just as it started to rain. As she pushed the creaking door it clacked against something metal she picked it up and she soon found it was a flashlight. She needed on for the room was to dark and there was no light going into it. She turned it on, only to see two glowing read eyes looking back at her.
Running out as fast as she could, her night vision was ruined and she tripped. She fell unable to get up from the amount of pain that came from her leg, she laid there starring up into the sky, where the branches where aluminated by the flooding flashlight. The rain falling on her, soaking her.
It was running towards her faster and faster until it was there, she felt the hot steamy breath on her skin. Scared out of her wits and shivering. Looking in the monsters glowing red eyes starring it down she wouldn't be beaten, it vanished; along with the forest and the rain. The moon was out and she sat beneath a single old oak, strong and sturdy in her front yard.
Sometimes she let her imagination run too far.
